Most MMORPGs from 2007 are either dead or running on fumes. Fiesta Online is apparently doing well enough to expand. Publisher gamigo announced today that its anime-styled free-to-play MMORPG is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms, though no specific release date or even a release window was given.

Fiesta Online originally launched on PC on November 7, 2007, and has been quietly chugging along ever since. The game first debuted in Korea in 2006 before gamigo picked up European publishing duties and later absorbed North American rights in 2013, eventually taking over the entire brand. It's one of the few titles in gamigo's portfolio that has survived the publisher's habit of sunsetting low-population MMOs, as reported by MassivelyOP, which suggests it still pulls enough players to justify the investment. Its Steam page currently carries a "Mixed" user review rating.

"Fiesta Online has always been about the adventures and friendships players create together," said gamigo senior product manager Michael Ha Cheng in a press release. "Bringing the game to consoles opens the world of Isya to a new audience while giving longtime players another way to experience it."

The console version will feature the same six character classes available on PC: Fighter, Cleric, Archer, Mage, Trickster, and Crusader. Kingdom Quests, which support up to 20 players in cooperative battles, are also making the transition alongside guild systems, daily challenges, and the game's Master and Apprentice mentoring mechanic. Specific PlayStation and Xbox platforms were not confirmed, though Gematsu lists PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series among the target platforms.

I did not have "19-year-old anime MMO gets a console port" on my 2026 bingo card, but there's something charming about a game that has outlasted dozens of flashier competitors now trying to find a second life on new hardware. Gamigo says Fiesta Online will be showing up at Gamescom, which should give us a clearer picture of when console players can actually get their hands on it.
