If you are an Arisen looking to spice up your combat mechanics in Dragon’s Dogma 2, then unlocking the Trickster Vocation is a must. This unique hybrid class offers a fresh gameplay experience that can help you in tough battles. Here's how you can unlock this exciting class:

Searching for the Trickster Class Location

To gain access to the Trickster Vocation, you will need to complete a series of main quests from Captain Brant in Vernworth. Once you are prepared to embark on the journey to Battahl, you will be on your way to unlocking the Trickster class.

Make sure to prioritize the "In Dragon’s Wake" quest and bring along a quest-guiding Pawn to make your mission easier. This quest will lead you to a shrine located south of the Checkpoint Rest Town to the west of Vernworth, just beyond the gates into Battahl. Upon arrival, a ghostly figure will grant you access to the Trickster vocation. Ensure you have enough inventory space for the gear you will receive to make the transition.

After unlocking the Vocation, head to the nearest Vocation Guild to begin your training. If you have set a fast travel point at the Rest Stop between Battahl and Vernmund, it would be the ideal location to minimize travel time. Alternatively, you can make your way to the Portcrystal in Vernworth for convenience.

If you need directions or assistance with other quests, refer to the full Dragon’s Dogma 2 map for guidance.
