Managing Dragonsplague in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Imagine being the hero known as the Arisen in the world of Dragon's Dogma 2, only to face a deadly threat known as Dragonsplague. This disease, spread through Pawns via the Rift, can quickly turn your adventure into a nightmare.

When exploring the vast landscapes of Dragon's Dogma 2, NPCs will warn you about the rampant spread of Dragonsplague. This illness doesn't show immediate symptoms, but infected Pawns will start disobeying your commands. As the disease progresses, their eyes will turn red, signaling a dark transformation into a dragon.

It's crucial to act fast when you suspect a Pawn is infected with Dragonsplague. Dismissing them from your party is the key to preventing the spread of the disease. However, your main Pawn, the one you create at the start, cannot be dismissed. In this case, it's best to interact with a variety of Pawns through the Rift to increase the chances of spreading the illness and ultimately curing the carrier.

On the other hand, a more drastic but effective solution is to eliminate the infected Pawn altogether. While it may seem harsh, it's a necessary sacrifice to prevent the emergence of a dragon.
