Can Console and PC Players Play Together? Unfortunately, the Console and PC versions of Unturned are quite different beasts. The console ports are developed by FunLabs/505, while the PC version comes from Smartly Dressed Games. Various modifications have been made to the console versions to optimize them for controllers, leading to differences in gameplay and updates.
Due to these inherent differences in infrastructure, cross-platform play between PC and consoles is not supported. However, there is still a glimmer of hope for future cross-platform compatibility, but it hasn't been implemented yet.
If you're looking to team up with your friends, the best option is to play on PC since the game is free and runs on low-end hardware. This ensures that you and your friends can easily join forces without worrying about platform restrictions. Alternatively, if you prefer playing on consoles, make sure to coordinate with your friends to ensure you're all on the same platform.
