Lucasfilm has recently announced its newest anthology series, Tales of the Empire, which is set to premiere on the popular streaming service Disney+ this May. The series will showcase captivating stories revolving around two characters deeply enticed by the dark side of the Force.
Similar to the renowned Tales of the Jedi, Tales of the Empire will feature a distinctive art style that will immerse viewers in the expansive world of the Galactic Empire. Scheduled to debut on 4th May 2024 in honor of Star Wars Day, the series promises to provide fans with a thrilling narrative set against the backdrop of the formidable Galactic Empire.

Acting as a complementary piece to Tales of the Jedi, Tales of the Empire will delve into the untold stories of two intriguing characters - Morgan Elsbeth and former Jedi Barriss Offee. The series will follow their transformative journey as they navigate a treacherous path to become formidable warriors.
According to the official description from StarWars.com, Morgan is depicted as someone who "navigates the expanding Imperial world towards a path of vengeance," while Offee must confront the challenges of a constantly evolving galaxy, leading to crucial decisions that shape their fates. The series trailer teases the appearance of iconic Star Wars characters, such as Admiral Thrawn, the Grand Inquisitor, General Grievous, and the infamous Darth Vader.
Fans can expect the Nighsisters to make a notable appearance in the series following their live-action debut in the Ahsoka series last year. Helmed by Star Wars veteran Dave Filoni and executive produced by Athena Yvette Portillo and Carrie Beck, Tales of the Empire promises to deliver a compelling and action-packed narrative.
