If you're a fan of the new multiplayer game Gray Zone Warfare, you might be alarmed to know that cheat providers are already trying to target the game. Hot off the press, Geeky Pastimes recently shared an email they received from an unnamed cheat provider, proposing a rather shady deal. The email suggested that Geeky Pastimes create a video discussing the impact of cheaters on the game's environment, with the promise of naming and shaming this particular cheat provider.
Got this kind of shocking e-mail about @GrayZoneWarfare asking me to SECRETLY advertise a cheat provider.

Watch out for people doing shady stuff like this!
They want me to make a video about cheats, where I mention them, in exchange for money, without saying it's a promotion pic.twitter.com/Oz3SxTMJUL
What's alarming is that this tactic is not new in the gaming world. Whenever a new multiplayer game hits the market, cheat providers are quick to disrupt the fair gameplay experience. It's a sad reality that content creators are often approached by cheat providers to promote their products, sometimes under the guise of wanting to expose cheating behavior.
Despite the attempt to remain discreet, the email seemed to contain a copy-and-paste error, leading users to speculate that it was originally intended for another popular content creator, JesseKazam, known for his Escape from Tarkov content. The behind-the-scenes dealings of cheat providers with content creators shed light on the murky world of gaming promotions.
