The No Man's Sky Update 5.00.1 has just released, addressing multiple issues reported by players. The update includes fixes for crashes related to interactions with NPCs on freighters, damage from the brood mother, planetary objects, and more. Read the full patch notes below.
No Man's Sky Update 5.00.1 Patch Notes:
Hello everyone,
Thank you to everyone playing No Man’s Sky Worlds Part 1, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.
We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of issues. These fixes are included in patch 5.00.1, which is now live on Steam and will be coming to other platforms as soon as possible.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a crash related to interaction with NPCs on freighters.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when taking damage from the brood mother.
- Fixed a rare crash related to planetary objects.
- Fixed an issue that caused graphical corruption on Mac.
- Fixed a PC-only crash that could occur at the transition from the starfield to the game.
We will continue to release patches as issues are identified and resolved. If you experience any issues, let us know by submitting a bug report.
