Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor 1.1 Hotfix 2 Patch Notes (6th May 2026)
Hotfix 2 for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor fixes the Demolisher getting stuck on detonators and brings buffs to several weapons including the Springloaded Ripper and Slither Drones.
If you've been playing Demolisher and wondering why you kept snagging on detonators like they were made of velcro, 1.1 Hotfix 2 has your answer. Ghost Ship Games dropped the fix today alongside a proper list of bug squashes and some meaningful balance changes.
The Demolisher gets the most attention here. Controls are tighter in both standard and simplified mode, and the detonator collider is now removed the moment it activates, which is exactly should have been in Hotfix 1. Beyond that, the Springloaded Ripper has been reclassified as a projectile weapon on top of its fire rate improvement, which opens up synergies that weren't available before. The Slither Drones also got a significant damage bump from 60 to 75, and the Carrier Drone's potency ticks up by one. Smaller numbers, but they add up over a run.
There are also fixes for players dying between mining red sugar and actually receiving the health benefit, which is a particularly cruel bug to have in a survival game. Here's everything that changed.
