In the Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Update 1.42, balance changes have been made to DLC character Beatrix. The adjustments include changes to her skills such as Riding Free, Sapphire Slice, Star Chaser, and Thunderbird. Read the full patch notes below.

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Update 1.42 Patch Notes:

This patch introduces balance adjustments to DLC character Beatrix. For an explanation on why we are implementing these adjustments, please see our previous announcement.

Battle and Character Adjustments

Recovery has been extended by 6F (+2F→-4F)

Reduced knockback when blocked
Riding FreeDamage reduced from 2800→2200
Increased blockstun by 2F (-4F→-6F on block)

(No changes to follow-up on hit)

Reduced knockback when blocked
Sapphire SliceCan now be blocked midair

(Sapphire Slice after Riding Free still cannot be blocked midair)

Reduced knockback distance when used as a follow-up to Riding Freeand
No longer a true block string when used as a follow-up to Riding Free
Reduced damage from 800→600 when used as a follow-up to Riding Free
Star ChaserDamage reduced from 1600→1200

(Deals 1000 damage when only the projectile hits)

Star ChaserDamage reduced from 2400→2000
ThunderbirdDamage reduced from 1200→1000
ThunderbirdDamage reduced from 1400→1000
ThunderbirdDamage reduced from 1800→1300
Fixed an issue where the third hit (burst of flames) would hit foes from behind upon landing

(Third hit now connects from behind only if the first or second hit connects)

Far standingLower hitbox size has been reduced, making it hit cross overs
Delta ClockDelta Clock gauge now refills at 30% speed while performing a Delta Clock skill

(Refill speed returns to normal once the skill has finished)
