Interwebz, a popular cheat provider for Call of Duty, has announced on their official website that they are shutting down their services. This comes after they received a legal notice regarding their products, leaving them with what they describe as "not many other options available". This news has made waves in the gaming community, especially among Call of Duty fans.

A well-known Call of Duty community member, @charlieINTEL, shared the full statement on Twitter, bidding Interwebz a swift farewell. The tweet, which you can find here, expresses a sentiment echoed by many others in the community.

Cheating in Call of Duty has long been a problem, disrupting online matches, discouraging new players, and even impacting professional players in high-stakes competitions. The shutdown of Interwebz has been welcomed by numerous fans of the game.

It's worth noting that just last week, the official Activision Blizzard Twitter account was hacked, leading to some concern among fans. However, Activision later assured the community that they had regained control of the account and were taking steps to prevent such incidents in the future.

While it's unclear if the recent hacking incident is connected to Interwebz, Activision has been actively addressing cheating in Call of Duty. In February, the company banned 6,000 cheaters in just four days, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining fair play in the game.
