The much-anticipated PlayStation 5 Pro console has been making waves in the gaming community after specs were leaked by YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead. The leaked information, now confirmed by IGN, sheds light on the powerful enhancements that Sony has in store for its next-gen console.

According to the leaked documentation, the PS5 Pro will feature a 'High CPU Frequency Mode' which boosts the CPU clock speed by 10% to an impressive 3.85GHz. This upgrade promises improved performance and smoother gameplay compared to the standard PS5 model. However, the increased CPU speed does come at a slight cost, with GPU performance taking a 1% hit.

One of the most exciting revelations is the GPU power of the PS5 Pro, boasting an impressive 33.5 teraflops compared to the 10.28 teraflops of the standard PS5. While this may seem like a massive leap in power, it is important to note that direct comparisons between the two consoles are not straightforward due to changes in AMD's architecture.

As reported by The Verge, the actual performance gain may be closer to a 45% increase in rendering speed, making the PS5 Pro a promising upgrade for gamers looking to experience next-level graphics and performance.

Despite the excitement surrounding the leaked specs, Sony has taken down the original video revealing the information, sparking speculation as to the reasons behind the removal. While it may seem like an attempt to minimize leaks of confidential details, the exact cause of the takedown remains unclear.
