Recently, insights shared via a concerned developer's LinkedIn page have brought to light the existence of two undisclosed projects at Tango Gameworks. These titles remained under wraps until the unfortunate closure of the studio by Microsoft.

According to Tsuyoshi Okugawa’s LinkedIn profile, spotted by the Twitter user @bogorad222, there were mentions of being involved in "Unannounced Title Graphics Programmer 2024" and "Unannounced Title Lead Programmer 2023-2024" projects. Speculations suggest that one of these titles would have been the anticipated Ghostwire: Tokyo sequel that got leaked during a recent hearing.

However, the closure announcement shook the gaming community as Microsoft decided to shut down Tango Gameworks as part of broader studio restructuring measures. This move also affected other studios like Arkane Austin, Alpha Dog Studios, and Roundhouse Games.

Notably, Head of Xbox Game Studios, Matt Booty, explained the decision in an email, emphasizing that it wasn't a reflection of the talent or efforts of the teams involved. While Ghostwire: Tokyo and a possible Hi-Fi Rush sequel may not come to fruition now, it raises questions among fans about the fate of these beloved series.
