According to a recent statement by an Activision representative, the latest Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare 3, along with the current version of Warzone, has seen a surge in player engagement, surpassing the numbers of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

The representative expressed their excitement in supporting the Call of Duty community, highlighting the efforts of the development teams in creating new and high-quality experiences for players. As a result, more players are actively participating in the game compared to the same period last year.

While specific numbers were not disclosed, the trend indicates a positive response from gamers towards Modern Warfare 3. Developed mainly by Sledgehammer Games, the game departed from the slower pace of the previous Infinity Ward titles, allowing for a more fast-paced and dynamic gameplay experience.

Activision has been attentive in its support for both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, evident in the recent Season 3 patch release. The update introduced new maps, weapons, and additional content, keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging for players.
